Eden Hills sets a new standard for eco-friendly sustainable living in Israel. Green building is not simply a process of reducing environmental impact. It is rethinking the relationship between humans and nature. It is a holistic approach that incorporates environmental concerns into the design process from the start. For the planet, green building offers the promise of dramatically lowered air pollution, improved surface water quality and the preservation of habitat and natural resources for future generations. For people, incorporating green building strategies fosters low energy consumption, minimizes building impact on the natural environment, maximizes sustainable and renewable materials use, and provides significant direct financial returns. At the end of the day it is a quality of life issue. The following will be implemented in the design of our unique community:

* Our eco-friendly community will be linked by a 6 meter wide tapering, underground corridor  through  which all infrastructure and other services will flow – permitting ease of access for repair, maintenance and future upgrades without disturbing the surface above. This service tunnel acts as a main artery throughout the community that will facilitate everything from pneumatic rubbish removal to pizza delivery. Certain groups have shown interest in studying the corridor in conduction with their product line. This will generate income, increase efficacy and should lower maintenance costs.
